Crossy Road is a free iOS and Android application seeking to attract a new market of 24-35 year olds to engage socially with the game and make in-app purchases. The target audience is young professionals, who lead busy lives. Between trying to jumpstart their careers and create a manageable work-life balance, Crossy Road serves as an escape from their monotonous daily routines. The target has not quite come to terms with their newfound adulthood and jumps on any opportunity to reminisce. An updated version of the classic game Frogger, Crossy Road is reminiscent of the target’s childhood while being fresh and quirky. This campaign was designed to elicit a strong connection between the audience and a game that is easily accessible, social and addicting.
